My general perception of some of the barriers to success based on comments from friends in the mining industry is that current government and private enterprise rules/guidlines of employment/training/conduct/conditions are far to leneient/loose in thier expectations/conditions. I think some things should be improved like encouraging employment, finding the right people, call it casting and drawing in the net but then conditions need to be agreed to and met (similar to issues of Indonesian mistreatment of our cattle) so that the investment in time and money by related parties is not wasted and the right/interested people get that valueable help and opportunity. I think this would result in less wasted resources and more fulfillment.
