I work as a trainer in the LLNP program and in my experience this program has not been flexible enough for the indigenous clients who have attended. The rules are that if a client can't sustain over 80% attendance over a period of time then they are withdrawn. So far, all of the indigenous clients I have worked with have attempted to maintain regular attendance, but have had various pressures in their lives such as family and health problems, and they have really needed a literacy numeracy program with more flexibility which would them to continue whenever possible.
