My perception of the geographic distribution of indigenous Australians is that there are many people living in regional and remote areas (close to family and traditional lands) while the majority of employment opportunities are centred in our major cities. If job seekers move to where the jobs are, how do they maintain a feeling of support and connection to family and land ? There is only so much that can be done to provide regional and remote jobs.
