I represent a South Hedland locally owned and operated Training Organisation. We have been involved in delivering training in tghe Pilbara, Kimberly regions and deliver a variety of training including; mining, construction, administrtaion, safety and a number of other areas. Within this training we have been involved in delivering to a number of indigenous students. Our analysis in reference to training idigenous people and other socially disadavantaged groups points to selection of appropriate careers and aline units of competency to match the career choices and deliver the training on site in the communities to ensure each person has family support and in a cultural environment that will support training.
