I love the open forum and thought process this initiative is bringing - the first step. Training is important but real experience is imperitive. In a corporate environment I don't know any interview situation I have been involved in where the trained person got the job over the experienced person. I am in a position to provide on site experience and training to a person in a creative, inspiring and motivating environment but I don't have the money to pay anyone. If Government could look at placement in small (tiny) business without the business having to pay it would open many more opportunities. Inspiration, motivation, direction, encouragement and support = happy people.
