Hon. Adrian Piccoli Visits Work Ready Workshop

02.05.2013 MEDIA RELEASE   Today NSW Education Minister, Adrian Piccoli will visit Doonside Technology High School in Western Sydney.  Meeting with 20 Indigenous students who are part of the GenerationOne Pathway Program, the Minister will meet with students to discuss their career aspirations and opportunities.    At a workshop hosted by GenerationOne, in partnership with Pure Insights, this small group of students is taking ownership of their futures.  Opting out of their school athletics carnival, the group will work on resumes, interview techniques and presentation skills.     ...   Today, Mr Warren Mundine, who has spear-headed GenerationOne’s efforts over the last year as CEO and Chairman, will be stepping down from the organisation. “I have dedicated my time at GenerationOne to drive a strong policy agenda that ensures both sides of politics are focused on ending Indigenous disparity through jobs.
