GenerationOne Statement

We have received a number of queries about the matters between the company Fortescue Metals Groups and members of the Yindjibarndi community in Roebourne, Western Australia.

These are matters for FMG and those members of the community in Roebourne. They are not matters for GenerationOne. GenerationOne is not involved in this matter. We would urge supporters to appreciate this distinction and direct any questions or concerns to the relevant parties involved.
GenerationOne will proudly continue to build a movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australian who are committed to ending the disparity between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians in one generation.
Our focus is on the positive efforts of many Australians who are making a difference in their workplaces and communities. The GenerationOne Facebook site is a place where we share these positive stories and we would ask that people respect the postings on this site and not attempt to make repeated postings about issues that are not GenerationOne matters. As our site is there for friends and supporters, we will remove comments from people who clearly not supporters. We ask those people to take their comments to another forum.
