SCHOOLS across WA will sing out loud to help "close the gap" between indigenous and non-indigenous people around the nation and be in the running to

win $15,000. GenerationOne is calling for entries to its Hands Across Australia School Competition for 2011, urging every school to record its own version of the song aimed at breaking down barriers and creating op- portunities for indigenous Australians.

Now in its second year, the competition gives schools the opportunity to showcase their talents byfilming a performance of Hands Across Australia or recording a new song. Visit
